    Crater Lake is a lake worth visiting. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Crater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lamb Creek Campground; tremendous hiking is available along the Jamison Trail. Summertime at Crater Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's; nighttime lows at Crater Lake throughout the winter commonly drop into  
   the 10's. Not much rainfall falls here at Crater Lake; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Showdown is great; you'll discover a picturesque lake called Lake Sutherlin. All the outdoors exciting stuff in close proximity to Crater Lake will keep you coming back persistently. The friendly people of Great Falls like to hang out nearby, and do check out Willow Creek Reservoir,
 
               it's a striking lake.
Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Belt Creek, and you can stay the night at Jumping Creek Campground.
