A perfect spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Crater Lake is Kootenai River; camping is available at Woodland Park. Summertime highs at Crater Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Crater Lake. Crater Lake is located       in the Cabinet Mountains. Hanging Valley is a perfect site to check out, and the top of Treasure Mountain is easily made out from Crater Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Old Daly Trail is always a splendid adventure. Lakes? Sure, Lake Osakis is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Crowell Trail, and if you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn Libby is a glorious choice. If you want a brilliant time in the great                  outdoors just come on up to the Cabinet Mountains. Don't forget to take a good little visit to West Fork Granite Creek, and a great close by hotel is Best Western Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa. Flower Lake is a great lake in the vicinity of Crater Lake; a glorious place to camp here at Crater Lake is Cabinet Mountain Conoco Campground. Good hiking is available along the Berray Mountain Trail, and the slopes of Turner Mountain are so inviting noone can resist.
