This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Yellowstone River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Big EZ Lodge is a pleasant location to get some rest, and the Pole Gulch Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. You can run the rapids of Gallatin River near Crater Lake. Lakes are glorious; Arden Lake       is a lake that's in close proximity to Crater Lake. Crater Lake is pretty dried up usually; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. While you're here at Crater Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Bozeman, and not far from Crater Lake you'll stumble on Swim Lake which is a stunning lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Crater Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.                  Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Crater Lake are in the 10's. This place, Crater Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Near Crater Lake you come across the Divide Trail which is a great hiking trail; after a long day outdoors The Lodge at Big Sky is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
