Crater Lake is a nice lake to visit. Crater Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Lewis Range. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Swan River, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Aeneas Creek Trail. You absolutely have to fancy Crater Lake. Crater Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Handkerchief Lake Campground is a magnificent

| | local campground; close by you hit upon the Graves Creek Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.
Crater Lake gets a common amount of rain; November is the month that gets the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. The Wolf Creek Trail is a great hiking trail close to Crater Lake; if you need a place to stay Bridge Street Cottages is a good choice. That right there is a heap of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. | |

You can run the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in the neighborhood of Crater Lake, and Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great location to get some rest.
High temperatures at Crater Lake during the summer are in the 80's,
and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Crater Lake are in the 10's. Camping at Graves Bay Campground is always a
wonderful experience, and don't miss out on a visit to Glacier National Park while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. The top of Mount Aeneas is easily seen from Crater Lake; a lake close by is Aeneas Lake.
