Crag Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Crag Lake is a location that is quite arid generally; during May this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort West Yellowstone Conference. The view of Shooting Star Mountain from Crag Lake is pretty, and Mulherin Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do near Crag Lake. Good

| | hiking is available along the Fawn Pass Trail, and paddling on Yellowstone River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Tom Miner Campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs is a good site to spend a night or two. Go for a hike on the Sportsman Lake Trail; there are other spots here than Crag Lake, for example Sedge Lake. Why not camp at Specimen Creek Campground if you're here at Crag Lake, and lakes | |

are such serene places, why not take a look at Crescent Lake. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Crag Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows at Crag Lake through the wintertime ordinarily drop into the 10's.
