Summer brings highs in the 70's to Cradle Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Cradle Lake during the wintertime commonly descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is delightful here at Cradle Lake, you can go for       a hike along the Crazy Lakes Trail, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Clarks Fork Yellowstone. So many exciting things to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. Bald Knob can be seen from Cradle Lake. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Cradle Lake is not the only spot nearby, Wand Lake is a nearby lake; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Crazy Mountain Trail. You could also have a look at Lake of the Clouds since                  you're here at Cradle Lake; it's close by, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Lake Reno Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Cradle Lake. Camping is available at Crazy Creek Campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rosebud Creek - West. This location, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors amusing things.
