While you're here at Cougar Lake you can take a hike along the Jimmie Ridge Trail. There's so much to do here at Cougar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rv Timbers Park is a great place for that. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swan River; do pay a visit to Glacier National Park if you're here at Cougar Lake. Getting to Olson Creek from Cougar       Lake is simple, and whitewater paddling is great on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Throughout the days of summer at Cougar Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cougar Lake. Near Cougar Lake you find a golf course called Eagle Bend Golf Club. Any time is a delightful time at Cougar Lake if you go for the outdoors. Have a great                  hiking adventure along the Doris Creek Trail, and since you're here, you could also visit wonderful Abbot Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Cougar Lake there are plenty of people from Kalispell; do schedule some time to check out Blackies Bay if you have a chance. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Alpine Trail, and after a long day outdoors Bad Rock B&B is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Cougar Lake is regularly a pretty dried out place; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is February.
