Go to Cottonwood Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Around Cottonwood Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side visit to Cottonwood Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Brackett Creek Campground is a glorious location to camp. | | lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Cottonwood Reservoir during the wintertime frequently sink into the 10's. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bridger Bowl if you're here, and a lovely lake like Lucas Reservoir is a perfect place to check out. Big Belt Mountains. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Cottonwood Dam in close proximity to Cottonwood Reservoir. All year is a perfect time in the Big Belt Mountains if you love the outdoors. Why not
camp at Battle Ridge Campground since you're here at Cottonwood Reservoir, and do stop by Higgins Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. Hiking along the Rays Road is magnificent fun, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Yellowstone
Inn is a great choice. Just can't get enough of Cottonwood Reservoir. Cottonwood Reservoir is right by the Bangtail Trail, and after a long day outdoors Murray Hotel is a fine place to spend a night or two.

 | 18 miles away 12 PHOTOS Bridger Bowl offers a very diverse ski experience with the following ratings: 20% beginner, 30% intermediate, 20% advance and 30% extreme. Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails. Ridge Terrain contains numerous steep chutes, rock cliffs, and snowfields which may end in unmarked cliffs. Clearly, Bridger Bowl's Ridge Terrain provides some of the most challenging skiing found within any ski area boundary!... |
