    If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Cottonwood Lake. If you need a location to stay Eddys Motel is a splendid choice, and you can stay the night at Ladysmith Campground. A delightful close by hotel is Butte War Bonnet Hotel, and you can go for a hike on the Bear Gulch Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Electric Peak is gorgeous and can be seen from Cottonwood Lake, obviously you could also take a look at Maney Lake if you're here; it's  
   not far at all.
This place, Cottonwood Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you're visiting Cottonwood Lake from Butte-Silver Bow, you won't be the only one. Cottonwood Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Whitehouse Campground is a glorious location to camp nearby, and a lake nearby is Cliff Lake. Cottonwood Lake gets very little rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest
 
               month.
For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Cottonwood Lake reach the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Cottonwood Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
