Cott Lake is a nice lake to visit. At Cott Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is when it's the driest. Blackfoot River is a great whitewater spot close to Cott Lake; there are fine places to explore along the Pyramid Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Missoula here at Cott Lake; going for a hike on the Blackfoot Divide Trail is always a tremendous adventure. A tremendous

Russell Gates Memorial Campground is a nice campground nearby, and Cottonwood Lakes is a nearby lake that you could explore. Summertime highs at Cott Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's.
