Looking for something near Cott Lake? Tote Road Lake is close at hand, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Blackfoot River. A magnificent site to camp here at Cott Lake is Salmon Lake Campground, and you're most likely addicted to lakes, Cottonwood Lakes is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Cott Lake there are plenty of folks from Missoula, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blackfoot

| | River. There's perfect hiking along the Pyramid Pass Trail, and camping is available at Russell Gates Memorial Campground. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Cott Lake is excellent! Good hiking is available along the Blackfoot Divide Trail; don't leave Cott Lake without first going for a hike along the Dunham Trail. All through the summertime months here at Cott Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend | |

down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Cott Lake. Cott Lake is pretty arid mostly; during January this area sees the most snow; the driest of the months is July.
