Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. You simply should explore Alp Rock while you're here at Corner Lake, and do take a hike on the Pilot Creek Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Corner Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the       20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Corner Lake tend to be in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Republic Trail, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Round Lake. At Corner Lake you can make out Sheep Mountain, and a great close by hotel is Super 8 Big Timber. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Corner Lake has to offer, you can camp at Soda                  Butte Campground. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more entertaining stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Hiking along the North Crandall Trail is brilliant fun, and there are some great whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone. Corner Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Fisher Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Stillwater River.
