The amount of rain that falls at Corner Lake is close to the national average; June is the wettest month with most rain; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone; Corner Lake is right by the Republic Trail. Fisher Creek is a charming stream that is worth checking out; get your heart pumping       on the splendid whitewater of Stillwater River. So many cool things in the Absaroka Range, just amazing. There's so much to do here at Corner Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Soda Butte Campground is a delightful place for that, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel Big Timber is a nice choice. The warmest time of the year at Corner Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. High                  temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Corner Lake. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Interesting geology is available here; Alp Rock is close to Corner Lake; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the North Crandall Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Absaroka Range. One of the overriding highlights of the surroundings of Corner Lake is Sheep Mountain, and a lake nearby is Astral Lake. Any time is a magnificent time at Corner Lake if you adore the outdoors.
