The beauty of Copper Lake attracts many people from all around. Copper Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range. Paddling on St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon is so much fun; why not camp at Squaw Creek Campground while you're here at Copper Lake. This lake is so wonderful. St. Joe River - North Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Wonderful Trail.

| | location close to Copper Lake is Lookout Pass, and a good place to camp here at Copper Lake is Denna Mora Campground. Just can't get enough of Copper Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Lookout Pass, and at Copper Lake you can distinguish Runt Mountain.

yourself if you don’t go skiing at Lookout Pass since you're here. The Arid Ridge Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Copper Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Stardust Motel is a perfect choice.
Copper Lake gets a common
amount of annual precipitation; through January this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bitterroot Range. On a wonderful day at Copper Lake you can take a hike along the Kyle Creek Trail; Bitterroot Springs is always fun to check out.
