If you came for an overnight stay Swiftwater Motel & Rv Park is a delightful spot to camp; what would winter be without some skiing at Lookout Pass. Copper Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range. Whitewater paddling is nice on St. Joe River - North Fork; a beautiful lake like Upper Saint Regis Lake is a magnificent spot to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Saint Regis Lake near Copper Lake, and Bitterroot Springs is a fine local attraction. much fun. Throughout the summertime, highs typically are in the 80's at Copper Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights
come with lows in the 10's to Copper Lake. That right there is a lot of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Bitterroot Range has it all. A visit to Lookout Pass is always fun; Copper Lake is right by the Wonderful Trail.
Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a splendid spot to get some rest. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Arid Ridge Trail; the slopes of Lookout Pass are so inviting nobody can resist. A normal amount of precipitation falls here
at Copper Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month.

The local ski pioneers chose Lookout Pass because of the abundant snowfall and excellent snow quality which they could access by jumping on the Northern Pacific railcars as they proceeded east from the mining towns of Wallace and Mullan, Idaho.
