If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. You can spot Castle Rock Mountain from Copepod Lake, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. leave Copepod Lake without first going for a hike along the Granite Loop Trail, and a gorgeous lake like Cladocera Lake is a splendid site to visit. No need to travel far to have a look at interesting stuff like Castle Rock Glacier;
going for a hike on the Upper Granite Loop Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range.
