Copepod Lake is always a pleasure to visit. There are brilliant sites to explore along the Upper Granite Loop Trail, and why not camp at East Rosebud Campground while you're here at Copepod Lake. Copepod Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through June, and the driest of the months is October. So many fun things to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. Don't leave Copepod Lake without first going for a hike along the Granite

| | Loop Trail, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a great whitewater spot nearby.
Throughout the summertime at Copepod Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows at Copepod Lake through the winter ordinarily drop into the 0's. Copepod Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. Rosebud Creek - East in close proximity to Copepod Lake, and you simply must pop by Castle Rock Glacier while you're here at Copepod Lake.
Go for a hike on the Copeland Lake Trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not have
a look at Alp Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Copepod Lake is great fun, Beartooth Lake Campground is a great local campground; Castle Rock Mountain can be made out from Copepod Lake. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. Red Lodge Mountain is a great local ski area.
