Montana has many beautiful lakes and Copeland Lake is one of them. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are really abundant here at Copeland Lake. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail. Crazy Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground, and if the weather is beautiful, you get a great panorama of Crazy Mountain from Copeland Lake.

| | A lake nearby is Pat Lake; going for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Copeland Lake; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 30's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Copeland Lake. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. you came for an overnight stay Lake Creek Campground is a nice site to camp, and Copeland Lake is not the only place close by, Shrew Lake is a close by lake. The yearly precipitation here at Copeland Lake is about average; the
month with most of the rain is June while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. The skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is great. This lake is
so wonderful. There's whitewater on Crandall Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; if you're here you can take a hike along the Lake Reno Trail.
