Coopers Lake gets very little precipitation; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of the year is July. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Lewis Range is unbeatable! While you're here at Coopers Lake, you could also pop by charming Spawn Lake, and float down the rapids of Blackfoot River - North Fork in a kayak. So many entertaining things near Coopers Lake, just tremendous. Hiking       along the Meadow Creek Trail is nice fun, and why not take a little journey to McDermott Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. The Mineral Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and Bear Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Throughout the summer months at Coopers Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the                  cold winter nights at Coopers Lake are in the 0's. Coopers Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. Coopers Lake is right by the McDermott Trail; camping at Big Nelson Campground is always a splendid experience. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a nice site to spend a night or two. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Lewis Range has to offer.
