If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cook Lake. A great nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Miles City. Throughout the months of summer at Cook Lake highs are frequently in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Cook Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. The summit of Camelsback can       be made out from Cook Lake, also Branum Lake Dam is worth stopping at if you're here. Not much rain falls here at Cook Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Miles City Koa Kampground is always a nice experience, and Town & Country Club is a good golf course nearby. Cook Lake is not the only spot nearby, Spotted Eagle                  Lake is a nearby lake; if you need a spot to stay Best Western War Bonnet Inn is a good choice.
