Go to Lake Columbine if you want to go to a nice lake. Some of the water nearby flows, like Columbine Creek, and camping is available at Hicks Park Campground. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Lake Columbine. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Boulder River; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Buffalo Plateau Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
