For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Colley Lake tend to be in the 10's. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Absaroka Range. A perfect site to camp here at Colley Lake is Snowbank Campground. Lakes? Sure, Bridge Lake is nearby. Not enough hours in a day to       enjoy the Absaroka Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Carpenter Lake, and why not take a little trip to Lambert Creek while you're here. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Going for a hike on the Wallace Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder River. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Colley Lake. There are                  nice spots to explore along the Pyramid Trail; a splendid location like Clover Basin here at Colley Lake is too great to miss. Why not camp at Hicks Park Campground while you're here at Colley Lake, and get wet paddling on Boulder River. This lake is so wonderful. Around Colley Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
