Beaver Creek Campground 2 is a good local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 West Yellowstone. Going for a hike along the Cutoff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Bald Peak is clearly visible from Coffin Lake. While you're here at Coffin Lake, you could also       take a look at pretty Upper Coffin Lake, and Sheep Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Coffin Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 20's while Coffin Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
