     Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Kirkwood Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Beaver Creek Campground 1 is a wonderful location to camp. Beaver Creek Campground 2 is a good local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 West Yellowstone. Going for a hike along the Cutoff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Bald Peak is clearly visible from Coffin Lake. While you're here at Coffin Lake, you could also  
   take a look at pretty Upper Coffin Lake, and Sheep Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit.
During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Coffin Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 20's while Coffin Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Coffin Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January;
 
               October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Madison River, and Sawtelle Mountain Resort is a perfect place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors exciting things next to Coffin Lake will keep you coming back time and again. While you're here at Coffin Lake you can take a hike along the Rock Creek Pack Trail, and the dominant characteristic in the vicinity is the Henrys Lake Mountains.
