    Why not stop by Cobalt Lake if you're passing through these parts. Cobalt Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Cobalt Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Two Medicine Campground is a perfect local campground, and there are brilliant sites to explore along the Upper Two Medicine Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable  
   stuff in the Lewis Range. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and Paradise Park is a fine place here at Cobalt Lake.
Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Cobalt Lake. Visiting Glacier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; don't leave Cobalt Lake without first going for a hike along the Dawson Pass Trail.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Rockwell Falls will fill your soul with glorious feelings, and going for a hike on the Two Medicine Pass Trail is always a great adventure.
So many exciting things in the Lewis Range, just extraordinary. Chief Lodgepole Peak is a peak you can observe from Cobalt Lake; if you want a little side journey, try Two Medicine Pass. During the summertime months at Cobalt Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Cobalt Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range.
Bear Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and a good place to camp here at Cobalt Lake is Summit Campground.
