Coates Pond is usually a relatively dehydrated place; during June this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Really nice skiing awaits you at Showdown, and why not camp at Lion Creek Campground if you're here at Coates Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Jamison Trail; Solberg's Pine Valley Cabins is a great local campground. High temperatures at Coates Pond       during the warm months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's.
