Lakes are pleasant; Cliff Lake is a lake that's close to Lake of the Clouds. You'll meet a lot of people from Missoula here, and McDonald Glacier is an exciting place to stop at while at Lake of the Clouds. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Marshall Mountain if you're here. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do next to Lake of the       Clouds. Camping is available at Saint Marys Lake Campground, and if you need a site to stay Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast is a perfect choice. Near Lake of the Clouds you come across perfect spots like Lone Tree Pass, and from Lake of the Clouds you get a tremendous vista of Glacier Peaks. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Port Polson Inn, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at                  nearby Icefloe Lake.
