This is a glorious area for people who like lakes. Ouzel Lake is a lake close by; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Crazy Mountain Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone; you're most likely addicted to lakes, Cradle Lake is one of those close by. All year is a splendid time in the Absaroka Range if you love the outdoors. Going for a hike along the       Lake Reno Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and there's whitewater on Rosebud Creek - West for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. The vista of pretty Bald Knob near Lake of the Clouds is nice; camping at Crazy Creek Campground is always a brilliant experience. If the weather is splendid here at Lake of the Clouds, you can go for a hike along the Crazy Lakes Trail; if you came to camp                  Fox Creek Campground is a splendid place to do that. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. The yearly precipitation here at Lake of the Clouds is about average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Absaroka Range. Dry warm beds await you at Yodeler Motel. Summertime highs at Lake of the Clouds regularly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's.
