Montana has many beautiful lakes and Lake of the Clouds is one of them. Lake of the Clouds is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. The summit of Bald Knob can be observed from Lake of the Clouds, and you'll find a picturesque lake called Basin Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. Camping is available at Crazy Creek Campground; you can run the rapids of Rosebud Creek - West.

| | is always a perfect experience; you can go for a hike on the Crazy Lakes Trail. From a precipitation point of view Lake of the Clouds is a reasonably common location; most of the rain falls throughout June while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. After a long day outdoors Big Moose Resort is a pleasant place to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the Lake Reno Trail is always a glorious adventure.

the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake of the Clouds are in the 0's. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Lake of the Clouds. There's whitewater on Clarks
Fork Yellowstone for all you adrenaline junkies; nearby you discover the Crazy Mountain Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
