Cliff Lake is located in the Cabinet Mountains. Why not go to nearby Isabella Creek since you're here at Cliff Lake, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Engle Lake Trail. For the duration of the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Cliff Lake while night lows are usually in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cliff Lake. This       lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Kootenai River, and on a lovely day you acquire a great vista of Chicago Peak from Cliff Lake. Cliff Lake really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Lakes? Sure, Copper Lake is in the neighborhood; Milwaukee Pass is also a great location to look at. Be careful coming to the Cabinet Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Cliff Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day                  at, Howard Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground; if you're here you can take a hike along the Old Daly Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Libby; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Engle Peak Trail. There's so much to do here at Cliff Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trout Creek Campground is a perfect site for that; Moran Basin is a great spot to check out. That right there is loads of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Cabinet Mountains has it all. Saint Paul Lake is a wonderful lake close to Cliff Lake, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Turner Mountain.
