Throughout the summertime months at Cliff Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Cliff Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Cliff Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Howard Lake Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and while you're here why not check out Milwaukee

| | Pass. The Cabinet Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The Engle Peak Trail offers hiking at its best, and do visit Isabella Creek while you're here at Cliff Lake. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Cliff Lake. Hiking along the Engle Lake Trail is good fun, and everybody loves Moran Basin. also take a look at close by Saint Paul Lake; a splendid nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Libby. What would winter be without some skiing at Turner Mountain, and Trout Creek Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
Copper Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; there are some great whitewater spots on Kootenai River. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains. Chicago Peak is wonderful and can be made out
from Cliff Lake, and Cliff Lake is right by the Old Daly Trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Cliff Lake is close to the national average; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is regularly the driest month.
