All through the warm days of summer here at Cliff Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Cliff Lake tend to be in the 0's. A striking lake like Broadwater Lake right next door to Cliff Lake is a splendid spot to pop by, and why not take a little       journey to Sky Top Creek while you're here. The amount of precipitation that falls at Cliff Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during June while October is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Middle Mountain from Cliff Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Big Timber. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is bountiful here in the Absaroka Range. There are delightful locations to discover along the Republic Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rosebud Creek - West. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. Going for a hike on the Pilot Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure; Cliff Lake is a nice spot to camp, Colter Campground is a nice spot. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Cliff Lake. Don't leave Cliff Lake without first going for a hike along the Crazy Lakes Trail, and glide down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone in a kayak.
