After a long day outdoors Butte War Bonnet Hotel is a tremendous site to spend a night or two; Mormon Campground is a nice campground nearby. Not much rainfall falls here at Cliff Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Take a little visit to Fox Creek since you're here at Cliff Lake; there's glorious hiking along the Bear       Gulch Trail. The Sweeney Creek Ecology Trail offers hiking at its best, and Mormon Gulch Campground is a great local campground. Holiday Inn Express Butte (Parkside), Mt is a great location to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Upper Whitetail Park Trail. At Cliff Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows throughout                  the wintertime for Cliff Lake tend to be in the 0's. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Cliff Lake.
