    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Cliff Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Great Divide is near Cliff Lake, and Mormon Campground is a delightful campground nearby. There are other places here than Cliff Lake, for example Frog Pond, and if you need a location to stay Butte War Bonnet Hotel is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful.
Fox Creek is a wonderful local stream, and going for a hike along the Upper Whitetail Park Trail will let you
 
   absorb the natural beauty of this region. For the period of the long summer days at Cliff Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Cliff Lake tend to be in the 0's. So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Cliff Lake, just inspiring. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not visit Cottonwood Lake near  
               Cliff Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Butte (Parkside), Mt.
Not much rain falls here at Cliff Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Bear Gulch Trail is glorious fun; if you came for an overnight stay Mormon Gulch Campground is a good place to camp. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Sweeney Creek Ecology Trail; the sight of Iron Mountain is gorgeous.
