If you get bored of Cliff Lake, you could also go to close by Northwestern Lake; Grouse Mountain Lodge is a perfect place to get some rest. Good hiking is available along the Tally Mountain Billy Creek Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Kristianna Mountain Homes is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Mountain Meadow Trail, and Cliff Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Les Mason Campground is a great local campground.

| | Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cliff Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Cliff Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Mountain is in close proximity to Cliff Lake; camping at Whitefish/Kalispell N KOA is always a great experience. is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Stillwater River. So many fun things to do at Cliff Lake, so little time. The skiing at Blacktail Mountain is great; playing golf is lots of fun at Whitefish Lake Golf
Club. Cliff Lake is pretty dried out commonly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Kalispell here at Cliff Lake; don't leave Cliff Lake without first going for a hike along the Reid Divide Trail.
