    Beautiful Clear Lake has much to offer visitors. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. Lintz Campground is a great local campground, and if you came for an overnight stay Conrad Crossing Campground is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is fine here at Clear Lake, you can go for a hike along the Storm Peak Trail; get wet paddling on St. Joe River. For the duration of the days of summer highs here  
   at Clear Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Clear Lake.
If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a great choice; you obtain a perfect vista of Beetle Hump from here. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Not far from Clear Lake, you'll come
 
               across Rudie Lake which is a stunning lake; why not head up to Lookout Pass and strap some skis to your feet.
The annual precipitation here at Clear Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable things to do in the Bitterroot Range. Lakes? Sure, Crystal Lake is nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Joe River. Lookout Pass is the original Idaho ski area having documented skiing and a home made rope tow in 1935. The local ski pioneers chose Lookout Pass because of the abundant snowfall and excellent snow quality which they could access by jumping on the Northern Pacific railcars as they proceeded east from the mining towns of Wallace and Mullan, Idaho. These ski adventurers would hop off the railcars at the summit and utilize a highway storage shed as a warming hut that they nicknamed ''Buzzards Roost''.
Lookout Pass has operated every winter season since 1935 and has a reputation for legendary powder, earliest openings, and longest season in the region. Average snowfall is 400'' of light Northern Rockies snow. The ''Affordable Family Ski Area'' has recently received a major expansion approval and has initiated the first three phases of a five phase Master Development Plan....
