Do stop by Clayton Lake while you're in this part of Montana. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Clayton Lake. If you came to camp Fire Island Campground is a perfect spot to do that; Swan River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful.

| | for a hike on the Graves Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure. Clayton Lake is a good location of typical rain; November is the month that gets the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. All year is a tremendous time in the Lewis Range if you fancy the outdoors. Looking for a nice visit? Glacier National Park is pretty right next door to Clayton Lake, and lakes are such serene sites, why not go to Cliff Lake.

here in the Lewis Range, too perfect to be true. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Clayton Lake called the Pioneer Ridge Trail. There's so much to do here at Clayton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lid Creek
Campground is a magnificent place for that. If you need a site to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great choice, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Flathead River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There are magnificent
spots to look at along the Tongue Mountain Trail, and after a long day outdoors Bridge Street Cottages is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.
High temperatures at Clayton Lake all through the days of summer are in the 80's
with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Clayton Lake.
