Throughout the warm months at Clam Lake highs are commonly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Clam Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Go for a hike on the Lodgepole Trail, and you can       run the rapids of Boulder River. Clam Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Republic Trail, and camping at Clam Lake is pleasant fun, Chippy Park Campground is a pleasant local campground. And that's not all you can do here at Clam Lake. If you get bored of Clam Lake, you could also take a look at nearby Barrier Lake; why not camp at Hells Canyon Campground since you're here at Clam Lake. Not enough                  hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. There's tremendous hiking along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Big Timber. Nearby Jordan Pass is a great spot to go if you're at Clam Lake, and one of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Clam Lake is Jordan Mountain.
