Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the Absaroka Range. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Lodgepole Trail. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. While you're here at Chrome Lake you can take a hike along the Bozeman Trail, and you're in all probability into lakes, Ram Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do       here at Chrome Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Woodbine Campground is a good site for that, and The Golf Course is a glorious location to stretch your legs a bit. Chrome Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel Big Timber is a wonderful choice; hiking along the Black Butte Trail is great fun. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Chrome Lake. Chrome Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than                  a day at, Emerald Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground; Black Butte is clearly visible from Chrome Lake. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stillwater River, and if you've had enough of Chrome Lake, West Fishtail Creek Lakes is nearby. Chrome Lake gets very little rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. At Chrome Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
