you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blacktail Mountain since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Stillwater River, and wonderful
scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Big Mountain. Just can't get enough of Chinook Lake. If you came to camp Dog Creek Campground is a nice place to do that, and if you need a place to stay Grouse Mountain Lodge is a magnificent
choice. High temperatures at Chinook Lake through the summer are in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Chinook Lake drop into the 10's.
