This lake is so wonderful. Rodeway Inn Libby is a tremendous site to get some rest, and you obtain a delightful view of China Mountain from here. Stay the night at Pipe Creek Campground; China Lake is right by the Crowell Trail. At China Lake through the months of summer highs       are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; night lows in the 10's for China Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. Skiing at Turner Mountain is one of those things you just have to do; whitewater paddling is glorious on Yaak River. Having a good time at China Lake is easy. The Pulpit                  Mountain National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best; needless to say, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Shannon Lake is a lake in the vicinity. China Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and July on the other hand is the driest.
