Cedar Lake gets very little precipitation; through December this area sees the most snow while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Flathead River - Middle Fork, and do take a hike on the Micho Trail. There's so much to do here at Cedar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Columbia Falls       RV Resort is a perfect place for that, and obviously, all our national parks are fine spots to stop at and Glacier National Park is no exception. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Cedar Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Cedar Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Blacktail Mountain is a brilliant                  place to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Cedar Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Teakettle Campground is a great local campground, and after a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a nice site to spend a night or two. There are plenty of people from Kalispell here at Cedar Lake, and the slopes of Big Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you thrill seekers, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail.
