There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Cedar Lake is not far at all from Kalispell. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend       Flathead River - Middle Fork. Around Cedar Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow while April is generally the driest month. The slopes of Blacktail Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist; if you need a location to stay Bad Rock B&B is a wonderful choice. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do near Cedar Lake. There's so much to do here at Cedar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Columbia                  Falls RV Resort is a good spot for that, and of course, this is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Spoon Lake is a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful. Glacier National Park is a great spot close to Cedar Lake, and the Micho Trail offers hiking at its best. Cedar Lake is right by the Columbia Mountain Trail, and if you came to camp Teakettle Campground is a good place to do that. Hiking along the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail is magnificent fun, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Big Mountain. Through the long summer days at Cedar Lake highs are mostly in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
