Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. Go for a hike on the Big River Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater. And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting things to do in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mount Bradley Trail, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Bear Creek.       If you came for an overnight stay Devil Creek Campground is a perfect place to camp, and a quick visit to Castle Creek is unquestionably a magnificent idea. You absolutely must fancy Castle Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Castle Lake; Granite Creek Trail is a pleasant local trail, and on a gorgeous day you get a pleasant view of Trinity Mountain from Castle Lake. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Castle Lake, and                  throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Castle Lake. Camping at Castle Lake is splendid fun, Beaver Creek Campground is a splendid local campground; Bridge Street Cottages is a splendid place to get some rest. Castle Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Castle Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is April.   Bridge Street Cottages, Bigfork 33 miles away Bridge Street Cottages, completed in 2004, are located, on the Swan River where it flows into Bigfork Bay.
