    The beauty of Casey Lake is reason enough to stop by. Not much precipitation falls here at Casey Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. It's a tremendous idea to stop at Bear Creek, it's in the vicinity of Casey Lake, and paddling on Yellowstone River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful.

   you get a delightful panorama of Hanlon Hill; camping at Rocky Mountain Campground is always a delightful experience. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. All year is a glorious time in the Absaroka Range if you adore the outdoors. Nearby Black Canyon of the Yellowstone is a good site to go if you're at Casey Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Yellowstone North.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in
 
               the Absaroka Range. Whitewater paddling is nice on Mulherin Creek, and the Beaver Lakes Loop Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. On a magnificent day at Casey Lake you can take a hike along the Rescue Creek Trail, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Gardiner is a fine choice. While you're here at Casey Lake you should visit Parker Point, and if you came to camp Eagle Creek Campground is a glorious spot to do that.
During the warm months highs here at Casey Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Casey Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
