Many people like to go to Carpenter Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Carpenter Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Carpenter Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do in the Absaroka Range. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Boulder River. There's so much to do here at Carpenter

| | Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Snowbank Campground is a wonderful place for that. On a wonderful day at Carpenter Lake you can take a hike along the Poacher Trail, and swing by Beaver Creek it's a glorious spot to check out.

a day to look at everything Carpenter Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tower Fall Campground. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Yellowstone North, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Coyote Creek Trail.
Carpenter Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Carpenter Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range.
