A great spot to go to next to Carp Reservoir is Hay Coulee, and Cottonwood Inn and RV Park is a magnificent campground nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Trails West Campground is a good site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Pearson Reservoir, and not far from Carp Reservoir you acquire some pleasant water scenery at Pearson Dam. Around Carp Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Carp Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
