All year is a nice time in the Bitterroot Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Overwhich Falls is always fun to check out, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Divide Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Bitterroot Range. Take a little journey to Base Creek if you're here at Capri Lake. Capri Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Moosehead Store and Gallery       is a great site to camp nearby, and hey, Gotta ski right? Lost Trail is a nice place to do that. You just should like Capri Lake. Crazy Creek Campground is a pleasant campground nearby; if you need a location to stay Best Western Hamilton Inn is a brilliant choice. Lakes are good; Pass Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Capri Lake, and going for a hike on the Ax Park Way is always a great adventure. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful.                  High temperatures at Capri Lake throughout the summer are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Capri Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Frog Pond Lake, and there are great locations to explore along the Big Hole National Recreation Trail.
