There's wonderful hiking along the Trapper Peak Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Townhouse Inn of Hamilton. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Bitterroot Range rules! Good hiking is available along the Saint Mary Peak Trail, and Canyon Falls is an inspiring place to have a look at while you're here. Canyon Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Canyon Lake is near Canyon Lake;       paddling on Big Sand Creek is so much fun. Summertime at Canyon Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Canyon Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and as expected, this is a great region for people                  who like lakes, East Lake is a lake around here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Bitterroot Range has to offer. The panorama of Canyon Peak from Canyon Lake is pretty, and do stop at Canyon Lake Dam while you're here. So many cool things to do at Canyon Lake, so little time. Why not camp at Blodgett Canyon Campground while you're here at Canyon Lake, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Lost Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Como Campground is a splendid location to camp; whitewater paddling is good on White Sand Creek. An average amount of rain falls at Canyon Lake; the month with most of the snow is January, and July on the other hand is the driest.
