Canyon Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. Go for a hike on the Lake Reno Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone River offers some great whitewater. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Red Lodge Mountain.

This lake is so wonderful. There are fine locations to discover along the Crazy Mountain Trail, and some of the water nearby
flows, like Hemingway Creek. Camping at Fox Creek Campground is always a magnificent experience, and you'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Crazy Lakes. Having a great time at Canyon Lake is uncomplicated. Good hiking is available along the Crazy Lakes Trail, and do stop at Lake of the Clouds, it's a beautiful lake.
