Lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Divide Creek Lake right next door to Camp Lake; while you're here, you could explore Brownlee Creek. Camp Lake is mostly a rather dried up site; most of the rain falls during May while February is usually the driest month. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Camp Lake; the night is rather       cooler of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Camp Lake. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Camp Lake. A glorious site for whitewater paddling right next door to Camp Lake is Boulder River - East, and if you want a little side journey, try Lewis Gulch. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always                  go whitewater paddling on Boulder River, and a picturesque lake like South Picket Pin Lake is a magnificent spot to have a look at. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. Yeah, come up here to the Absaroka Range for a fine time. Camp Lake is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, East Boulder Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Black Butte Trail. Contact Mountain is pretty and can be observed from Camp Lake, and the Lodgepole Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby.
