This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. This place, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. East Boulder Campground is a great campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Big Timber. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Absaroka Range. Contact Mountain is       clearly visible from Camp Lake, and there are great places to look at along the Black Butte Trail. You might want to pay a visit to Lewis Gulch since you're here at Camp Lake; Boulder River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Camp Lake is pretty dried up usually; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Going for a hike on the Lodgepole Trail is always a fine adventure, and Camp Lake                  is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Mc Leod Resort is a great spot to camp nearby. High temperatures at Camp Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Camp Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
