Howlin' Mad Moon Resort is a great campground nearby; if you need a site to stay Beaverhead is a brilliant choice. The Lightning Creek Trail is a nice hiking trail near Lake Cameron, and a nice close by hotel is Arrowhead. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Cedar Lake while you're here at Lake Cameron; it's close by. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Lake Cameron temperatures are mostly in the 80's. | | down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Lake Cameron tend to be in the 10's. Take a side journey to Cameron Creek, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Shadow Lake is just a very short distance away. is a good hiking trail near Lake Cameron called the Cutoff Trail, and on a wonderful day you obtain a good vista of Cedar Mountain from Lake Cameron.
