Camas Lake is a good location of common rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. Summer at Camas Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at       Camas Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Hit the slopes at Lost Trail close by, and not far from Camas Lake you'll hit upon Kidney Lake which is a pretty lake. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Camas Lake. The Trapper Peak Trail is a splendid hiking trail next to Camas Lake, and a nice place to camp here at Camas Lake is Lake Como Campground. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more fun things to do here in the Bitterroot                  Range. Ward Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Camas Lake, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Ward Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Kramis Pond is in the vicinity, and if you need a spot to stay Townhouse Inn of Hamilton is a good choice. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Bitterroot Range is unbeatable! There is a great hiking trail next to Camas Lake called the Saint Mary Peak Trail.
