Why not camp at Skidway Campground since you're here at Camas Lake. It's a glorious idea to stop by Middle Fork Big Camas Creek, it's near Camas Lake, and get wet paddling on Tenderfoot Creek. Camas Lake is pretty arid generally; May is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Big Belt Mountains. For the duration of the summertime months       here at Camas Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's while Camas Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. So many amusing things in the Big Belt Mountains, just striking. The Divide Trail is a nice hiking trail near Camas Lake, and the panorama of Boulder Baldy is beautiful.
