In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork; hey, Gold Creek is a brilliant local stream. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. Cabinet Gorge Reservoir is a good location of typical precipitation; December is when you get the most snow here, and the driest of the months       is July. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Ross Creek Pack Trail, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Silver Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Coeur d'Alene River National Recreation Trail, and River Delta Resort is a good local campground. Be careful coming to Cabinet Gorge Reservoir, you might not ever want to return home again. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Kellogg, and Cabinet Gorge Reservoir                  is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Delyle Campground is a nice location to camp nearby. And if that's not enough there's loads more entertaining stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. Whitewater paddling is fine on Coeur d'Alene River; Cabinet Gorge Dam is scenic. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Cabinet Gorge is a magnificent site to check out close by, and going for a hike on the Blacktail Creek Trail is always a great adventure. Summer at Cabinet Gorge Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 40's.
