     Good hiking is available along the Slide Rock Mountain Trail; if you're here, you could also take a look at lovely Porcupine Lake. Through the months of summer highs here at Cabin Lake reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Cabin Lake. Frog Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Vermilion River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. This lake is  
   so wonderful. A splendid location to camp here at Cabin Lake is Willow Creek Campground.

If you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn Libby is a magnificent choice; going for a hike on the Thompson River Mount Headley Trail is always a magnificent adventure. From a rainfall point of view Cabin Lake is a quite common location; during January this area sees the most snow; the driest of
 
               the months is July. Cabin Lake is close to Squaw Pass which is absolutely worth taking a look at, and camping at Copper King Campground is always a splendid experience.
Cube Iron Mountain is a peak you can observe from Cabin Lake, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Big Spring is an inspiring location to take a look at while here; you can go for a hike on the West Fork Fishtrap Trail.
