While you're here at Cabin Lake you must stop at Blackies Bay, and Brown Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cabin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beautiful Lake Blaine Resort, and dry warm beds await you at Mc Cabe's Mountain Inn. Summertime highs at Cabin Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. All through       the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Cabin Lake tend to be in the 10's. The Doris Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail next to Cabin Lake, and you'll meet a lot of people from Kalispell here. Having a great time at Cabin Lake is uncomplicated. Cabin Lake is generally a relatively dried up site; most of the rain falls throughout June, and the driest of the months is February. All the outdoors fun stuff right next door to Cabin Lake will keep you coming back many times. If you need a site to stay Big Fork Timbers Motel is a great choice; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Alpine Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
