Throughout the wintertime       the highs are usually in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Burrell Lake. Burrell Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Take a hike on the Brushy Gulch Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful. The Ax Park Way offers hiking at its best; Ax Park is right here at Burrell Lake. Burrell Lake is pretty dried out frequently; the month with most of the rain                  is May; July is when it's the driest.
