You're sure to encounter some cheerful people from Missoula here, and you can go for a hike on the Crow Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Bunyan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lindbergh Campground is a great place for that; going for a hike on the Foothills Trail is always       a splendid adventure. All through the warmest time of the year at Bunyan Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Bunyan Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Bunyan Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Campground is a magnificent local campground, and do pop by Herrick                  Run if you're here at Bunyan Lake. At Bunyan Lake you don’t see much rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
